"The Beauty She Created"
For as long as I can remember my Mom has always been creating art - she has always been an artist. The kitchen was most often her studio where I could sit and watch her creations take shape. From drawing on T-shirts to stained glass windows to etchings, water colors and lastly pastels, my childhood home has always been filled with her beauty.
Now that I have a home and family of my own, we are lucky enough to have such a wonderful collection of her works that our house is an art gallery in itself. Many family, friends, and neighbors that come to our home often comment on her paintings. I am always so proud to tell everyone that my Mother painted these beautiful pieces, and “Would you like to see the rest?” I have had several requests for her art. That enjoyment and those requests are what have inspired me to make her work available to everyone.
I am thrilled to open a gallery in honor of my Mom and share the beauty she created with all of you. Please click on the "Diane Berni Gallery" link below to see her available work.
She fought a good fight for ten years against breast cancer. I cannot believe that almost four years have passed since she left us. However, she lives on, and will continue to do so forever in all of her artwork. I am donating a percentage of all earnings to the “Diane and Stephen Berni Cancer Research Fund”. This is a fund that my parents started together in the hopes that no one will ever have to fight as hard and lose the battle against cancer again.
